Legendary Magic Items in D&D 5e
The 5e SRD has 36 legendary magic items across the 2014 and 2024 rules, listed below by type. 23 of them require attunement. Under the 2024 SRD a legendary item is worth 200,000 GP (100,000 GP for a consumable). The most looked-up are Deck of Many Things, Vorpal Sword, Ioun Stone and Staff of the Magi.
Legendary is the top rarity short of an artifact: the Vorpal Sword, the Holy Avenger, the Staff of the Magi, the Ring of Three Wishes. Most legendary items require attunement.
Rows with a 2024 or 2014 badge are legendary in that edition only: a new item, or one whose rarity changed. Unbadged rows are legendary in both.

Artifacts: above legendary
Artifacts are the one rarity above legendary. The SRD has a single artifact, the Orb of Dragonkind (the Dragon Orb in the 2024 SRD). The 2024 SRD lists artifacts as priceless and gives no crafting time or cost for them.

Buying, selling and crafting legendary items
The 2024 SRD prices a legendary item at 200,000 GP. Halve that for a consumable other than a Spell Scroll, and add the base item's cost for armor and weapons. Crafting one takes 250 days of work and 100,000 GP in raw materials, also halved for consumables; the crafter needs Arcana proficiency and the right tool. The 2014 SRD has no prices or crafting rules for magic items, so 2014 tables usually follow the Dungeon Master's Guide or a house rule.
